CCA’s Annual Convention Keynote Program Opens with Carrier CEO Panel

CCA’s Annual Convention will feature a keynote lineup that features carrier CEOs and executives from Ericsson, Interop Technologies, Mavenir, Nokia, T-Mobile, and TNS who will examine new technologies, global trends, and policy issues impacting the future of the mobile ecosystem. CCA’s Annual Convention will take place September 20-22 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

On September 21, a keynote panel, A Discussion with Carrier CEOs, will open the Convention and will feature Mark Nazé, CEO, Nsight – Cellcom; Maureen Moore, chief customer experience officer, GCI; and Eric Woody, chief technical & operations officer, Union Wireless. Steven K. Berry, president & CEO of CCA will moderate. Executives will address business and policy changes facing competitive carriers, examine best practices to meet increased consumer demand, and discuss the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

Taking the keynote stage later that afternoon will be Dow Draper, EVP of emerging products at T-Mobile, who will focus on T-Mobile’s plans for fixed wireless products. Charles Marsh, SVP, US majors accounts at Nokia, will follow and examine Broadband Without Boundaries. Closing out the program, Mike Keegan, CEO of TNS will join Steven K. Berry for a fireside chat.

On September 22, Anand Akundi, interim head, customer unit regional carriers, Ericsson North America, will open the morning keynote program with remarks entitled, 5G for Rural Operators: Show Me the Money, followed by an Interop Technologies executives’ perspectives on the changes surrounding mobile messaging for 5G, including important updates on the global RCS ecosystem. GS Sickand, VP, North American Sales – Technical Solutions & Architecture at Mavenir will discuss changing the economics for rural network deployments by leveraging cloud native ORAN deployment architecture.
