Atlanta, Georgia – Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) today announced the winners of its 2023 Annual Achievement Awards onstage at the CCA Annual Convention, recognizing industry and community contributions from individuals, carriers, and associates in the wireless industry. The CCA Annual Convention takes place October 17-19 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Georgia.
“Congratulations to all of this year’s award winners who launched new initiatives that advanced the mobile ecosystem and demonstrated continued leadership in their communities,” said Tim Donovan, President and CEO of CCA. “I’d like to thank Steve Berry for his many years of dedicated service to CCA and his guidance that allowed us to grow into the nation’s leading association for competitive carriers. I am delighted that CCA now has an award named in his honor. I am also grateful to Mark Nazé for his continued leadership and service for the CCA Board of Directors.”

Steven K. Berry, Former CCA President and CEO
Awarded to Steve for his exemplary contributions and lifetime achievements to the mobile industry and CCA.
Distinguished Leadership Award
Mark Nazé, Strategic Projects Officer and Director – Cellcom
As the outgoing Chairman of the Board, Mark was recognized for his leadership, commitment, and service.
Steven K. Berry Outstanding Achievement Award
Maureen McCabe Moore, Chief Customer Experience Officer, GCI Communication Corp.
As a CCA Board member, Business Innovation Group co-chair, and active participant at CCA shows and Capitol Hill Day, Maureen has made extraordinary contributions to CCA and the wireless industry.
Neko Hamlett Associate Member of the Year Award
Ron Willett, Vice President & GM of Carrier Managed Services, ClearSky Technologies, Inc.
Ron serves on CCA’s Board of Directors and Events Committee and actively participates at CCA events. This past year, he provided CCA with text-to-survey technology for show attendees. He listened to the feedback from the Events Committee and attendees and came up with a solution for the benefit of all.
Outstanding Service Award (Carrier)
Nemont Telephone Cooperative, Inc.
Nemont raised $18,400 for local libraries in NE Montana through their "Connect at the County Fair” initiative.
Outstanding Service Award (Associate)
NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC.
Among other charitable activities, NETSCOUT’s Heart of Giving Program completed 22 team volunteer projects in five countries, earning a total of $55,000 in team volunteer grants, plus $220,000 in grants related to digital equity and inclusion.
Industry Innovation Award
Mobi, Inc.
Awarded in recognition of Mobi’s partnership with Working Group Two to move its core network to the cloud, enabling them to build a compelling, app-first customer experience on the largest 5G nationwide network.
