Washington, DC – March 22, 2018 – The FierceWireless Executive Breakfast is returning to Competitive Carriers Association’s (CCA) 2018 Mobile Carriers Show, March 27-29 in Las Vegas. The panel, entitled “Networks of the Future, and How to Get There,” will take place Wednesday, March 28 at 8:00 a.m. PST and is sponsored by T-Mobile.
The industry is buzzing with talk of 5G, which is an entire reinvention of the network. But there are many other components to meet growing network demands on the way to 5G, including dedicated IoT technologies, virtualization, licensed and unlicensed spectrum, Massive MIMO, and infrastructure changes, to name a few. Operators are tapping into all of these tools to make our 5G future a reality.
“I am delighted the FierceWireless Breakfast is returning to CCA’s 2018 Mobile Carriers Show,” said CCA President & CEO Steven K. Berry. “I look forward to hearing from the distinguished panelists and their insight on networks of the future.”
The panel of leading industry experts will examine the methods that are being implemented today, what needs to be done, and what’s the offing for tomorrow. Panelists include:
– Monica Alleven, Editor, FierceWirelessTech – moderator
– Phillip Berenbroick, Senior Policy Counsel, Public Knowledge
– Steve Sharkey, Vice President of Government Affairs, Technology and Engineering Policy, T-Mobile
– Kevin Zvokel, Head of Networks, Ericsson North America
An additional registration fee of $50 is required to attend the FierceWireless Executive Breakfast, which begins at 7:30am. The panel discussion begins at 8:00am; attendees will have the opportunity to ask their own questions to panelists during the event.
